Sometimes chapters just don’t belong in the story anymore. Around Chapters 8-13, I was dealing with medical problems and a lot of pressure for college, and as a result I struggled to structure chapters properly. I think the comic flows a lot better without Chapter 8, but here it is for future reference! This originally took place between Chapters 7 and 9.

Below is the deleted Extended version of chapter 11. It was cut after I realized it didn’t flow naturally from the previous conversation. When I was drawing it at the Slow Webcomic Pacing I didn’t realize how oddly paced it was for the characters to leave and start doing other things….I also think a lot of Bilbo’s characterization here is already implied in the main comic itself. That being said, all the Vibes here are still canon!
